Heights, harnesses, and chainsaws—this role isn't for the fainthearted. Physical fitness and strength are crucial in tree surgery as you'll be climbing high and carefully removing large tree limbs. Constant awareness of your surroundings is essential; one false move could cause significant damage.
If climbing isn't your thing, you can keep your feet safely on the ground and work with the groundworks team. You'll be responsible for carefully removing limbs and branches and operating the woodchipper. Groundworks is a key role in tree surgery, and the climbers couldn't work without your support.
