Starting out as nothing more than a pipe dream in a local pub, Jake and Rhys quickly fell in love with the idea of founding their own landscaping company in Guernsey.

They envisioned a company that upheld high standards for clients without exorbitant fees.

After extensive planning (and a fair share of anxiety!), Mimosa was established in 2018. Initially operating from Jake’s garage with a less-than-ideal set of tools, and supported by their young families, the company expanded rapidly. By 2020, they had hired additional employees and opened a dedicated yard in 2022.​

Though we may appear as just another local business, behind the scenes, we strive to create a great work environment for our team. We organise scheduled team-building activities, enjoy scenic lunches by the coast (and sometimes a cheeky surf), and offer a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables from our growing veggie patch.
